Ushuaia are the capital city of the Argentine province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and the South Atlantic Islands.
Ushuaia is in coordinates: 54° 48 ' 57 '' S 68° 19 ' 04 '' W, on the northern border of the Beagle Channel or Canal de Beagle, located to the southwest of Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego, in the Ushuaia department of which Ushuaia is head.
The department has a surface of 9,390 km ². This department has a single municipality, Ushuaia. It has a deep water port, being next to the Antarctica.
In summer, Ushuaia shows all its tourist attractions to make activities of adventure tourism like trekking, mountain bike, sport fishing, cavalcades, and spectacular strolls by Beagle Channel. During the cold winter, it counts on sport centers to practice cross-country skiing, and in the Cerro Castor alpine ski can be practiced.
